Water damage doesn't give you a warning. One minute everything is fine, and the next you're looking at soaked walls, saturated flooring, and cabinets that have been sitting in moisture long enough to start breaking down. That's exactly the kind of situation we walk into - and we move fast.

The first thing we do is contain the work area so the rest of the home stays clean and livable. You can see the plastic containment barrier with the zippered entry set up right at the hallway - that keeps dust, debris, and any contaminants from spreading into areas that weren't affected. It's a detail that matters a lot to homeowners who still need to be in their house while we work.

From there, it's demo time. Vanities, drywall, flooring - anything that absorbed water and can't be properly dried in place gets removed. We go all the way down to the framing and subfloor so we're not just treating the surface. Once we have clean access, we set up our air movers and commercial dehumidifiers throughout the space - bathrooms, bedrooms, closets - wherever the moisture traveled. Skipping this step is how you end up with mold problems weeks later.

We also sanitize as we go. Water damage - especially from a plumbing failure - can carry contaminants that aren't visible to the eye. Treating it right means more than just getting things dry. It means making sure the space is actually safe before anything gets rebuilt. That's what sets proper water restoration services apart from just throwing fans in a room and hoping for the best.

Once everything is fully dried and cleared, the home is ready for the next phase - whether that's a straightforward repair or a full bathroom remodel. We handle both sides of it, which means fewer handoffs, less stress, and a smoother process from start to finish.
