A kitchen flood can go from bad to worse really fast. Water doesn't just sit on the surface - it gets under cabinets, soaks into subfloor material, and hides inside walls where you can't see it. If it's not dealt with quickly and correctly, you're looking at mold, rot, and a much bigger problem down the road.

Here's what we were working with on this one. The water had saturated the cabinet bases enough that we had to open everything up and remove the damaged material. That's not something you do for show - it's the only way to actually get the area dry and make sure nothing gets left behind to cause problems later. Once the affected areas were exposed and cleaned up, we positioned multiple air movers and commercial dehumidifiers throughout the space to pull the moisture out.

We also used a FLIR moisture meter to check the actual moisture levels in the structure. The readings don't lie - and they tell us exactly where things stand so we're not guessing. That kind of data-driven approach is what separates a real water restoration service from someone just running a fan and hoping for the best.

The drying equipment stays in place and does its job until the numbers confirm the structure is truly dry. At that point, the space is ready for the rebuild - whether that's new cabinets, flooring, or whatever the kitchen needs to get back to normal. We handle both sides of it, the water restoration cleanup and the reconstruction after.

Water damage doesn't wait, and neither should the response. The faster the water comes out and the drying starts, the less secondary damage there is to deal with. This kitchen is on its way back, and that's what matters.
