A bathroom backup is one of those situations where what you can see on the surface barely tells the whole story. Water travels. It gets into walls, under flooring, behind cabinets - and it sits there. By the time a homeowner calls us, the damage is almost always bigger than it looks.

That's exactly why we come in with professional-grade equipment before we do anything else. We use the FLIR MR277 - a thermal imaging and moisture meter combo that lets us see what's happening inside walls and along baseboards without tearing everything apart first. When that meter reads maxed-out moisture levels along a wall or baseboard, that's not guesswork - that's hard data. And that data is what gets an insurance claim approved.

We walked this home room by room. Kitchen, bedrooms, hallways - everywhere water could have migrated. The moisture readings we pulled from the walls told us exactly where the damage had spread. Armed with that documentation, we worked directly with the homeowner's insurance to get the claim approved and get the scope of work locked in. That part matters a lot. A lot of folks don't realize they can have a restoration company help navigate that process with them.

Now we're moving into demo. That means getting the saturated materials out so the structure can dry properly and so we can assess whether any mold remediation will be needed. Catching it at this stage - before mold has time to settle in - is the best outcome for everyone. Our water restoration services are designed to handle it all from the first inspection call through the final repair.

We take care of people the right way. That means no cutting corners, no guessing, and no leaving a homeowner to figure out the insurance process alone. Every job gets the same thorough approach.
